Changing the Way we Play

The focus of this seminar was on how the sport industry is current engaging with the sustainability agenda. It provided participants with an opportunity to discuss the sport industry’s current practices in relation to sustainability and offered a unique opportunity for participants to share ideas on how the industry could improve its sustainability performance, and explore how this might be achieved.

The seminar had a number of speakers including academics, businesses, consultants and organisations who are currently engaged in research and activities related to promoting sustainability in the sport and event industry. This included; the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Premier League, Beyond Green, Golf Environment Europe, British Standards Institute, English and Welsh Cricket Board, and ESRC BRASS Centre at Cardiff University.
