Dr Calvin Jones - Associate Member
Career Experience and Qualifications
Calvin holds a PhD in the Economics of Tourism and Major Events. His research interests focus on the environmental impact of economic activity, particularly ‘non-traditional’ activities such as tourism and sport. He has been involved in the development of a number of measurement tools for sustainability, including the pilot Environmental Satellite Accounts for Wales and the Tourism Environmental Satellite Account for Wales. His work has been widely published,and in several languages, and he is an expert invitee to the UN World Tourism Organisation’s Committee on Tourism Satellite Accounts and Economics of Tourism.
