The role of place based communities in influencing sustainable/ethical consumption with particular reference to Fairtrade Towns
Career Experience and Qualifications
Anthony is a Senior lecturer in Marketing and Strategic Management on both undergraduate and postgraduate course At Trinity College Carmarthen. He has been lecturing for the past 6 years and holds a BA (Hons) in Business Enterprise from Wolverhampton University and an MBA from Lincoln University. In the past two years as well as lecturing on various programmes Anthony has helped design and deliver two new modules related to corporate social responsibility and greening business on Trinity’s BA Business Studies programme. He is also an active member of the Carmarthenshire Fairtrade Steering group and is presently helping Trinity College Carmarthen achieve the status of a Fairtrade University
Research Intrests
Prsently working on a Welsh Asembly Government (Knowledge Exploitation) research and activity project at Trinity College Carmarthen. This aims to reserch and develop the role of on-line social learning in engaging small to medium businesses in Carmarthenshire in takaling climate change.
Other intrests include:Fairtrade; Ethical and sustainable consumption; Social/ networked learning; E learning for consumers and business; Corporate Social responsibility; Community Based Social Marketing
