Like climate change, waste is a sustainability challenge which is common to most industries, and BRASS has been involved in a range of projects looking at how regulations, practical solutions and improved strategy-making can help to tackle waste problems. BRASS waste research has included studies of alternative domestic waste collection approaches, a large scale survey of commercial and industrial waste in Wales, and projects on contaminated land and waste from construction and demolition.
